FRANKLIN ELECTRIC & CONSTRUCTION CO.

No other family business has faithfully served the electrical contracting needs of clients in the Pittsburgh area for more years than Franklin Electric (since 1907). This 3rd generation Hodgdon family business, spans the years from arc light illumination to today's information age technology. Our IBEW support team of electricians, are trained over a five year apprenticeship period (10,000 hours on the job and 2,200 hours of classroom training). In addition, specialty training and continuing education certifications have been earned in other areas including:

To better serve its downtown Pittsburgh customer base, the main office is located on Pittsburgh's North Shore near the West End Bridge. Here you will find our office support staff along with Project Managers who ALL hold B.S. Degrees in Engineering (both electrical and civil), PLUS an average 35+ years of field experience.
